The Blackboard Connect Portal allows you to add or modify the ways in which you want NUNM to reach you. You will be able to add or delete phone numbers and email addresses and add text messaging.


The instructions below will walk you through registering your account with Blackboard Connect's new portal system.

    • Complete the required information and click the box to agree to the "Blackboard Connection User Agreement". Then click the Continue button at the bottom of the window.



    • You should see the message shown below. Log in to your email account in order to complete the required steps.


    • Once you have received your email confirmation and clicked the confirmation link within the email, you will be directed back to the Blackboard Connect Portal site and will be asked to select security questions in case you need to reset your password. Select your questions and supply the answers. Click the Save button when finished.



    • You should see the message shown below confirming activation. Click the Login button to begin managing your account information.



    • Use your email address and password you chose for the Blackboard Connect Portal to log into the site.


  • Confirming and associating your account
    • Enter your assigned ID number referenced in the "NUNM Notification System: Information Update" email. Contact IT at ITSupport@nunm.edu if you do not have that information or need the email resent to you. Click Submit
    • In the second field, enter in your NUNM email address and click Submit.


    • You should see the message shown below if the system is able to match your ID with second information you have provided. Click Associate.


    • Next view the pre-loaded data that's in the system for your account while unchecking personal information that is not yours. Click Next.
    • In the "Tell Us About Yourself" section, you can add additional contact information. Click Next.
    • It's recommended that users leave their "Set Your Subscriptions" and "Set Your Preferences" at the default settings. Click Next at the "Set Your Subscriptions" page and click Done on the "Set Your Preferences" page.
    • Once the steps have been completed, you should see your portal screen.
