Mobile device configuration will vary depending on the device. Android and iPhone/iPad general information are listed below. For more detailed instructions on these (and other devices), visit the Microsoft Office 365 Mobile Setup Help and follow their Exchange-based instruction.
General Android Setup
Navigate to Account Settings, and select Add Account
Choose Microsoft Exchange Activesync
Email Address: <first.last>@nunm.edu
Server Address: outlook.office365.com
Domain:
Username: <first.last>@nunm.edu
Password: <your student email password>
Make sure the box for Use secure connection (SSL) is checked.
Some versions have Domain\Username in one field.
If prompted enter <first.last>@nunm.edu
If prompted to accept the Activation Agreement, select Yes
If prompted that "Server outlook.office365.com must be able to remotely control security features on your device", select Yes
If prompted to "Update Security Settings", click Activate
General iPhone/iPad Setup
If this is the first e-mail account on this iPhone, iPad, or iTouch, tap Mail. Otherwise, tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Add Account.
Tap Microsoft Exchange.
Tap in the E-mail box and enter your full e-mail address (for example, <first.last>@nunm.edu.
Tap in the Username box and enter your full e-mail address again.
Tap in the Password box and enter your password.
Optionally, tap in the Description box and enter a short description for the account.
Tap Next on the upper right corner of the screen.
Tap in the Server box and enter outlook.office365.com and then tap Next.
Tap Next.
Choose the type of information you want to synchronize. By default, Mail, Calendar, and Contacts are all turned on. To turn off synchronization for a type of information, tap and slide the switch to OFF.
Tap Save.
